Requirement for Indian Nurses in Germany

How to avail this opportunity

Step by Step Process

Learn German A1 and A2 level.
Take the interview with the employer at the B1 level.
Get a confirmed contract in hand after clearing the interview.
Learn B1 and B2 levels in the language while applying for the recognition procedure (known as Anerkennung) at the respective state's nursing council.
Anerkennung gives two options to the Indian Nurses since the degree is not directly recognised in Germany. In order to work as a registered nurse they either do the Adaptation course (known as Anpassungslehrgang) or clear the Knowledge Exam (known as Kenntnisprüfung).
Apply for a visa with the Anerkennung results
Join the employer as an assistant nurse with a salary of approximately 2100-2300 Euros per month while preparing for the Kenntnisprüfung.
Clear the Kenntnisprüfung and start working as a registered nurse with an increased salary of approximately 2800-3000 Euros per month
