Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on passenger cars
- Use automotive diagnostic equipment and tools
- Conduct preventive maintenance and periodic servicing
- Replace defective components and perform system calibrations
- Maintain service documentation and adhere to German workshop standards
Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
- Education:
- Bachelor’s, Diploma, or ITI in Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering, or a related field (from a state-recognized institute)
- Proof of equivalence to German standards is required
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a car service workshop
- Preferred: 5+ years with exposure to diagnostics and OEM standards
- Expertise in one or more of the following roles:
- Maintenance or service technician
- Repair or system technician
- Diagnostic technician (optional but valuable)
- Driving License
- Valid non-EU B license (car) is mandatory
- Health:
- Physically fit to perform technician duties
Language Proficiency
- A2 and B1 Certificate from a recognized body (Goethe, Telc, ÖSD) – Mandatory
- Candidate must reach B1 proficiency within 10 months of enrollment
- Willingness to integrate linguistically and culturally in Germany
