Study Feeds Hosts LMU Munich for a Historical Indo-German Exchange

Study Feeds proudly hosted a distinguished delegation from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU Munich), celebrating the enduring academic and cultural ties between India and Germany. The delegation, comprising students and faculty from LMU’s prestigious Germanistik Department, embarked on an educational and cultural excursion to India. This enriching experience was meticulously planned in collaboration with Dr. Anna Axtner-Borsutzky from LMU Munich.

Founded in 1472, LMU Munich is among Germany’s most renowned universities, recognised worldwide for its academic excellence and pioneering research. Hosting the LMU delegation offered Indian students and educators a rare opportunity to engage directly with native German speakers, share perspectives, and immerse themselves in authentic German academic and cultural experiences.

The day commenced at Genesis Global School, Noida, where LMU students and faculty interacted with German language learners from grades 3 to 12. The interactive session was vibrant, with young learners conversing in German, exchanging stories of their learning journey, and discussing topics like student life in Munich. The German National Day, Tag der Deutschen Einheit (3rd October 2025), became a focal point of the conversation. The delegation led lively activities, encouraging students to express themselves confidently in German, making the interaction both memorable and inspiring.

In the second half of the day, the delegation visited the Study Feeds headquarters, where our faculty and students extended a warm welcome. As a leading German language training institute and higher education advisory in India, Study Feeds has been instrumental in building academic bridges with German institutions. Our role as a licensed centre for TestAS, TestDaF, onSET, dMAT, and ÖSD exams further strengthens this mission.

At Study Feeds, the event began with student-led presentations showcasing India’s rich cultural heritage, festivals, and delicacies. Students from A1 to B2/C1 levels participated with great enthusiasm, proudly representing India in German. LMU students reciprocated by presenting on German authors and their depictions of India over centuries, supported by colourful posters, sparking engaging literary and cultural discussions.

A highlight of the event was a skit by our nursing students, offering a heartfelt portrayal of a nurse’s life in India. The performance, blending humour and realism, resonated with the LMU delegation, prompting thoughtful dialogue on nursing education and healthcare in both countries.

The day concluded with a faculty roundtable and a dynamic student-to-student exchange, where discussions ranged from youth culture and education systems to career aspirations in India and Germany. These conversations fostered genuine connections, enriching the experience for all participants.

Reflecting on the event, Mr. Ankur Chaudhary, Managing Director of Study Feeds, said, “It was a privilege to host the LMU Munich delegation. Such initiatives reaffirm the power of educational partnerships in fostering global understanding. We remain committed to creating more opportunities for meaningful Indo-German exchanges.”

Members of the LMU delegation expressed deep appreciation for the warm hospitality and the insightful interactions, highlighting the new perspectives gained on India and its enthusiastic German language learners.

This successful exchange reaffirms Study Feeds’ mission to nurture intercultural competence, inspire young learners, and strengthen the academic bond between India and Germany, paving the way for future global citizens.
