The Medical-technical radiology Ausbildung Program offers Indian candidates a direct pathway to a professional career in Germany through its renowned dual vocational training system. Tasks and activities after completion of the apprenticeship
- Perform a variety of activities focused on the preparation, performance and follow-up of radiology procedures
- Perform various radiologic procedures, including x-ray check-ups, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and interventional radiology
- Prepare patients for radiology procedures, including explaining the procedure, calming anxiety and answering questions
- Operate and maintain technical equipment needed for imaging procedures and ensure proper functionality of this equipment
- Know and comply with radiation safety regulations, to protect patients as well as themselves and other employees from excessive radiation exposure
- Property document examinations performed, results and patient data
- Assist physicians during minimally invasive interventional radiology procedures by providing Instrumental assistance and imaging to support the procedures
- Care for patients during radiology procedures and ensure appropriate follow-up care after invasive procedures
- MTRAS are required to undergo regular training to stay informed about new technologies and procedures in radiology

Requirements
- Proof of qualification through necessary school-leaving certificates (HSC (Higher
- Secondary Certificate) oder SSSC (Senior Secondary School Certificate) SSSC).
- Not older than 30 years
- Language level of at least B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR)
- Must be certified by TestDaF, Goethe-Institut, TELC, or ÖSD
- The intention to settle and integrate in Germany in the long term
- A positive attitude to work and the willingness to learn new things are crucial.
- Vaccinations of staff in medical facilities in Germany in accordance with §23a of the German
- Infection Protection Act (mandatory): Measles, mumps, rubella (MMR); chickenpox (varicella);
- hepatitis A and B; COVID 19 (depending on the employer’s requirements)
